Community HealthCare System (CHCS) offers this scholarship to area graduating high school seniors who are pursuing a career in healthcare. This scholarship is made possible through memorials honoring Chandler W. Rowe and Hal Falkenstein; two beloved individuals who served community tirelessly. Chandler Rowe’s daughter Cynthia Steele and granddaughter Laura Bottom were dedicated employees of CHCS. Hal Falkenstein dedicated over 30 years of his life to work as the Chair of the Board of Directors for CHCS.

Two $500 scholarships are available to students from accredited high schools for towns where CHCS has a Family Practice Clinic. This includes Centralia High School, Frankfort High School, Holton High School, Jackson Heights High School, Onaga High School, Rock Creek High School, St. Mary’s Academy and St. Marys High School.
