The Caring Community Foundation Emergency Fund is helping to provide relief for COVID-19 local needs. Announced just over a week ago, the CCF has received over $11,000 for emergency response from more than a dozen individuals and businesses. To date, $4000 has been awarded to Community HealthCare System for COVID -19 response in our communities, $2000 has been provided for help with pharmacy needs, $750 for food insecurity and the rest of the current balance is available for rent/mortgage/utility needs created by the pandemic.

The CCF is grateful to all donors and charitable partners who are making immediate community assistance possible. Working together, we are bringing relief to our neighbors.

If COVID-19 is puttng you, or someone you know, in need, the CCF is here to help, confidentially and quickly. People in need of assistance are encouraged to contact the CCF Director, Susie Kufahl, at 785- 380-9014, skufahl@ccfks.org, their local food pantry, their healthcare provider or Community Care Ministries in Wamego.

The need for donations continues. All donations for local COVID-19 response may be made online HERE or by mail to the Caring Community Foundation, 17170 Highway 16, Onaga, KS 66521. The Caring Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and donations are tax deductible. The CCF will not charge any fees for the Emergency Fund and all donations will be spent expediently for COVID-19 efforts.
